Microsoft Outlook 2000
You may wish to print out these directions for future reference.
- Load Outlook
- Click on Tools | Accounts...
- Click Add | Mail...
- Type in a Display name as you would like to see it (for example: John Smith)

- Type in your new E-mail address (Example: john@yourdomain.com)

- Choose POP3 as your incoming mail server
- Type in your Incoming POP server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Type in your Outgoing SMTP server: mail.yourdomain.com
*NOTE: Your ISP may require you to use their SMTP server. If you are not sure, try this setting first and if it does not allow you to send e-mail, contact your ISP for their required settings.

- Type in your Account name (Example: john@yourdomain.com)
- Type in your Password (Example: *****)
- Check to Remember password, if desired

- Select either of the following 2 options:
- Connect using my phone line
With this option, when you load Outlook, your computer will attempt to dial whenever a connection is not present.
- I will establish my Internet connection manually
With this option, Outlook will assume you have already established a connection and not initiate the dial-up modem.

- If you choose Connect using my phone line, then:
Select Use an existing dial-up connection
Choose your preferred provider from your list of dial-up connections.
Click Finish
- If you choose I will establish my Internet connection manually, then:
Click Finish
That's it, you're all finished. See... that wasn't too hard now was it?
